Introduction to bioprocess design, scale-up, and simulation

Bioprocess engineering scope and digital methodology

Online course: On-demand

Couse fee: 300 € per session

Course content

4 sessions

Sessions scheduling: suggested one session per week

Effort: 3 to 6 hours per session

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This short course provides an introduction to the scope and methodology of bioprocess engineering. It outlines the design, scale-up, economic and environmental optimization, and modeling-simulation of industrial bioprocesses. The course offers a combination of methodological presentations and two case study projects.

INSTRUCTOR

  • Jean-Marc Engasser, BioProcess Digital

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The course is aimed at biologists, chemists, engineers, technicians and managers in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and environmental industries. It is particularly relevant to anyone involved in the development and scale-up of enzymatic, microbial or animal cells bioprocesses

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN?
